media140 events focus on the impact of what’s new and next in digital and social technology.

We explore the the way media organisations, public bodies, business, academia, political organisations and business engage and interact with consumers and individuals. Our events create stimulating environments to learn, connect and engage with your peers to share knowledge and discover new thinking. Our event themes are diverse and span journalism, creative media, science, business communications, politics and third sector. By working with leaders across different sectors we create a unique global perspective on the use of social technologies.

There are four flavours to media140.

Conferences
Branded as ‘Digital Futures’ our flag ship events lead with an emphasis on peer to peer knowledge share and growth of personal networks. Hosted over one, two or three days they demonstrate practical and strategic aspects of digital and social technologies for specialist audiences. Focused on what’s next and composed of keynotes, workshops, libraries, incubator surgeries, briefings and exhibitors these are designed to benefit tomorrow’s organisations.

Briefings
Created to provide digital professionals with regular updates in latest thinking in digital and social technology trends. Delivered as 90 minute sessions with a focus on debate, discussion and showcasing of applications of technology. Helping to satisfy the ever growing demand for ‘first hand’ experience hearing the latest thinking, trends and focused on knowledge sharing.

Workshops
Led by experience industry professionals, the workshops are designed to create collaborative experiences for participants to share individual experiences, hone their skills and develop new strategies for their organisation. Limited to 20 participants, we maintain a great degree of engagement and provide a one to one experience within a relaxed and friendly boardroom environment.

media140+
Closed curated events, media140+ are designed for forward thinking professionals working in different sectors (journalism, music, science, not for profit etc). Their purpose is to act as a catalyst for change, to create synergies and collaborative innovation between the participants. The events are invite only and designed to inspire and create new digital collaborations.
